Semi-Permanent Makeup

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble make-up, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of age, disease, such as alopecia totalis, chemotherapy,  or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast's areola, such as after breast surgery.

Most commonly called permanent cosmetics, other names include dermapigmentation, micro-pigmentation, and cosmetic  tattooing, the latter being most appropriate since permanent makeup is, in fact, tattooing.

Soft Tap

What is it?

A gentle semi-permanent tattoo applied with a specialized hand tool.

What does it do?

Fills in areas, covers bald spots to create an “I woke up like this” look, reducing the time you spend applying make-up each morning.

How does it work?

Hand-mixed color applied by a certified and licensed artist through your skin with a disposable needle and plant pigment.

What are the benefits?

Unlike traditional tattoo devices, soft tap does not vibrate or emit loud noises. It provides maximum penetration with minimal pain and discomfort. The result is a powder fill like appearance
What is it?

A very fine tattoo that results in natural looking brows.

What does it do?

A thin blade deposits pigment over sparse areas creating hair like appearance.

How does it work?

Tiny needles implant fine, hair like strokes of semi-permanent pigment into the skin. After the initial tattoo is applied, the client should return between 4-6 weeks for a touch-up called a “saturation visit”. Future touch- ups are recommended within 12-16 months depending on client exposure to sun, chemical peels and skin health.

What are the benefits?

Hair like fine and natural strokes make it appear completely natural.
